Inspired by Shibam’s 16th century mud-brick architecture and the fog that rolls into the city, SODNY’s sarha men’s collection blends the concept of diffused light and angular shapes. The complexion of the mud buildings and the gritty desert sand lay stark to the foliage surrounding the city, lending inspiration for both the collection’s colour palette and key design details.
Shibam’s last hours of daylight illuminate the city’s towering structures and the surrounding cliffs with a stunning glow. This distinctive occurrence is brought to life with orange highlights scattered throughout the collection.
